H&S Battalion — contest entries, mocked and printed
Capt Megan Bogard came in with three internal contest entries and a simple brief: mock them up, pick the winner, put it on a skivvy shirt with a pocket-square front and full-back art. The winning design went on ~150 shirts — and yes, the "skivvy shirt" option was the right call.

Internal design contest → one printed shirt
Battalions running internal design contests for the unit shirt are one of our favorite coordinators-to-work-with patterns. The unit does the hard part (picking a direction Marines actually want to wear), and we turn whichever entry they pick into three mockup variations so the selection committee can see how it prints before committing.
The "skivvy" recommendation
For this run, we recommended printing on skivvy shirts — the white/OD/green base-layer tees Marines already wear. It meant the design stayed uniform-compatible in the field instead of becoming a one-event shirt. Small per-shirt upcharge on the base blank, significant lifespan payoff.
Good fit for: battalion identity runs, anniversary tees
If your unit is running a contest, hitting an anniversary, or consolidating a new identity — this is the exact workflow. We handle the art direction, the mockup pass, the invoice, and the print. You focus on which design the battalion wants to see on itself.
